Screaming Soul

Your soul knows when you're lying to it and there comes a point when there's no longer any way to spin a person, job, situation, or relationship in order to stay in it.
Your soul really starts to scream when you've gone too far out of alignment.
You've looked at every angle and repetitively justified it.
You've given it the benefit of the doubt and worn yourself out thinking about it.
You've been mad, forgiving, resentful, hateful, hopeful, doubtful, compromising, kind and unkind.
You've bent over backwards and turned yourself upside down trying to make sense of it and your poor soul is shouting at you to get rid of it.
"Please please, just stop it! Stop it!"
But you can't because you're attached to it.
You're so attached to the hopes and dreams you have for it that you keep staying to try to make it fit.
You're attached because you're scared of what life will be like without it.
You're attached because it gives you a title, meaning, or purpose.
You're attached because you can't see beyond it.
You're attached because you don't know who you are or how to manage without it.
You're attached because you're frightened of what leaving might do to you if you do it.
You're attached because you don't have the financial resources to just get up and walk away from it.
You're attached because maybe there's no place for you to go at the moment.
You're attached until finally the attachment is too inexcusable, fake, heavy, or hurtful for your soul to continue it.
You may want to go back to before and play dumb a little more, but there's no way to once you've heard the requests that your soul is calling for.
At that point, you slowly make an internal plan to rebuild yourself again.
You look around at all of your options.
You start to expand by talking to a friend or friends, to your family, or another person who has been in your situation.
You start to recognize that you are not alone in this and that the more you believe in what's best for yourself, the more things will come into fruition.
You push fear aside and decide to follow your instincts and intuition.
You deserve more than what you've been living.
You deserve not to have your soul screaming and when you start to take little steps towards what's best for yourself, you'll hear your soul get quiet again.
It'll be content that you've finally made the right decision no matter how difficult it was to do it.
The calmness of your soul will bring you back to homeostasis and it will rest until the next test when it may plead with you once again to work towards your highest personal evolution even though you might not be ready or want it.
The soul is our internal guidance system, which knows the right time and direction to change.
Listen when your soul is calling you by name.
